TRUE GREEN
BUILDING DESIGN.
Great natural materials match truly intelligent design for an incredibly low impact on planet and wallet and a great comfort for the occupants, in every season and condition.

ENERGY AND WATER
EFFICIENCY

Reducing wastes is the first rule of sustainability. Intelligent energy and water management is the key and that’s why the house will be an example of how thing can (and should) be done.

THE ROOF? A SOLAR
POWER PLANT!

The idiot spanish law against renewables won’t stop me. The integrated PV solar roof will produce far more energy than needed. Clean, decentralised energy production, here we are!

OPEN SUSTAINABLE
Mobility
Part of the exceeding energy coming from the solar BIPV roof will go to the open charging station that will power up the thirsty electric vehicles that pass nearby. For free.

THE PERMACULTURE
GARDEN
It’s garden design that meets permaculture, creating a great outoor environment able to give daily fresh fruit and veggies and providing a great habitat for local fauna. All at the same time.

BUILT WITH
WORKSHOPS.
It’s a win-win. I receive help with the labour, you develop new skills learning in detail how to build a crazily sustainable house, maybe yours. Together we spread the value of our choices.

The Geotechnical study

26th October 2016

Why is the geotechnical study crucial to sustainability? Here I share my experience explaining why it’s good for the environment and how it can make you save a lot of money.

PROJECT UPDATEThe house design is evolving. We’re working for simplifying the lines and for making the shape of each environment linear and connected. Have a look!

House Plan

14th September 2016

ok, the interest in the project is spreading and, getting bigger than I could ever imagine. I’m going to take some days for renewing the website from A to Z.

5th September 2016

We’ve started talking a bit more in depth about the materials that we’ll use for the house. It’s crucial for delivering the basic project to the municipality and, most of all, for being truly sustainable.

5th August 2016

Here you can find (and download) the first plan of the house that we developed with Guayarmina. It’s a work in progress but I already love it!

House Sketch

16th July 2016

Great news again! The magazine Mi Pueblo supports the project too! There is more: I am going to write monthly on the sustainable development section of the magazine. Thank you so much to its director Ana Notario for giving me this chance.

We choose wood

27th June 2016

How could wood be the most sustainable choice in a place in the middle of the Ocean where there is no wood? After some days of investigation here‘s why wood is the most sustainable construcion material, a rare exeption to the “local is better” rule.

14th June 2016

A great exchange with Guayarmina is defining far more than the shapes of the house, making clear the pure spirit that moves the project and its clear vision. I am really satisfied with my choice and I expect news in few days 🙂

6th June 2016

Great news!  Tindaya TV has expressed its interest in the project, taking a close look at it. Thank you to the director Daniel Suarez for signing their willingness to help us spreading our values in Canarias.

These are the very first sketches.
The mandatory point of the design is “continuity”, building melted environments able to give the sensation of being outside even in the indoor environments.

Continuity

21st March 2016

I have finally found the architect! Guayarmina is a lovely person and the founder of GurimoLAB green-architecture studio (Gran Canaria). Let’s start with the design!

I OFFICIALLY HAVE A LAND.

25th February 2016

Today I’ve signed all the documents in front of the notary and that means I’m now the owner of the land I bought few weeks ago. I still can’t believe that!
Here I share what to know for being 100% safe in the buying process while here I explain step-by-step how to do the same. It’s so easy!

I’ve found the land.

17th December 2015

Ok, I have just given the deposit for the piece of land where I’ll build my dream house. That’s AWESOOOOOME! 😀

Here I explain why I chose this great sustainable site.

Architecture melted with nature

22nd November 2015

Here I explain my vision of architecture and the core concepts of the design that I’ll develop with the architect I will work with. Still searching for him/her!

What is sustainability?

9th November 2015

Since it is the core of the whole project I want to make clear what I mean with the word sustainable. I do it here.

26th October 2015

I have started searching for the perfect piece of land where I’ll start making real all the things that I have been having in my mind for long time.

Let’s begin

23rd October 2015

Here I am, it’s been just few weeks that I have sandy feet.
This is the beginning of the journey.
